• OMG! What a small world. I saw this home in, of all places, Overstock.com! She reviewed the rug that I desperately wanted for my den but was sold out. I found a look-alike on another site. Funny to see her blog and home on one of my fave blogs! Love the wall color too 🙂

Crazy question….. What does “at 50%” mean? I apologize if you have explained this previously!

  • Thanks, Shanna! I LOVE that rug and in fact said that out loud when I first saw the picture. Liz has awesome style and it sounds like you do too. 🙂

Anonymous – not a crazy question at all! “at 50%” means to only use 50% of the original formula when mixing the paint, which means the paint is lighter than the original color. It’s a way to lighten up the paint without changing the color formula, you essentially just have more base paint. Hope this helps!

  • I love that rug, any idea where I could purchase one?

  • Hi Becca! I bought it off overstock. I see they are still selling the 5×8 here

  • Does anyone know where the multi-colored floral pillow is from or the name of the fabric?

  • Aww love her, her home, and her blog! I have that same rug from Overstock as well – here is mine:

Thank you Kristin! I am actually bowing down to you. Thanks to this/your representation of Revere Pewter at 50% , so many photos that I have seen stating the paint color is RP, that didn’t look quite right, now make sense. woohoo, lol.

I didn’t realize what a drastic difference lightening by 50% could make, ie: one of my all time favorite rooms by Martha O’hara, here: http://www.houzz.com/photos/3877297/Windsor-Road-Residence-Austin-TX-transitional-living-room-austin

Great blog! I truly appreciate all the time, effort and attention to detail that you put in to your blog. The paint colors you post are the closest representations to the real paint colors that I have seen on any blog.
