I was introduced to an amazing new site earlier this year that I love. The best thing? You can design and put together a room from your home and have samples ordered to your door. Next Day! I am going to show you my experience in ordering from this amazing site.
Introducing: DesignShop.
If you haven’t heard of DesignShop, it’s a site that allows you access to thousands of samples from multiple home improvement departments. Paint, walllpaper, tile, countertops, faucets, upholstery, rugs – seriously they’ve got everything. You can put together a design board and actually order the samples right from your computer.

If you’ve followed me for long, you know how much I love Samplize for picking out paint colors. DesignShop is brought to you by the same company as Samplize, which means you can get Samplize paint samples and much more through the platform.
I have been wanting to do a little bathroom refresh on our main floor and wasn’t sure how everything was going to coordinate. I decided to go to DesignShop and order samples from their site and it was delivered the next day. I was able to see right away how my choices looked together, and I didn’t have to leave my house, spend money on gas or use my time driving to various stores. It was amazing and all in one place!
I will show you what I ordered all for under $100 with next day shipping included. To do this all from the comfort of my home and have it come so quickly, it was well worth the price. Time is money.
This is how the box came:

Below are some of the samples I ordered. To see a full list – visit this link here.
They include multiple paint samples, wallpaper, hardware samples for the cabinets and even a matching faucet sample to see how the colors coordinated together. I also ordered a couple of floor samples because an area of our carpet is getting worn out. I knew right away they were not the right color, but am so glad I didn’t spend a ton of time or money on getting them. As I’ve said before about paint, sampling is key when trying to get exactly what you want. I’m grateful that I was able to see what the flooring looked like in person because it had different shades than what I saw on the computer screen.

Side note: I really wish I had this when we were building our home – they have samples from top home improvement brands that we used when picking out our finishes. Kohler, Artistic Tile, Cambria, James Dunlap (to name a few) and of course the best paint brands – Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore and Farrow and Ball. It really has everything and would have been very helpful to see everything together before we bit the bullet.

For our bathroom refresh I found this shower curtain from West Elm that I loved, and wanted to coordinate the paint to match it. I ordered quite a few different greens and cream paint colors that I thought would look nice.

I also wanted to see what the cabinet pulls and faucet would look like

These are the four colors I narrowed it down to. I would like to paint the wainscoting green and the top of the wall a warm white.
The picture below is how the colors might coordinate with the wainscoting, faucet and material I ordered for a rug. Can I tell you how much I love being able to see the samples in person and put them right next to the accessories I have to KNOW what they will look like together? Online it can be tricky to see exact colors and textures. So thankful I was introduced to this website and for the help that it has been when trying to put together my bathroom refresh.

It feels amazing to get going and be confident in my choices because I can personally visualize them. The best part? I was able to do this all under 24 hours.
If you are looking for design inspiration but don’t know where to start, I highly recommend you go to DesignShop and order a few samples. It was a great experience for me and I got exactly what I was hoping for. I will keep you updated on the bathroom refresh.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
